The recorder plugs into the home or business phone line with the supplied adaptor and records the phone line - it is not specific to phone type.

How does it Record Cell Phones?
The cell phone adaptor allows you to connect your cell phone to the recorder to record your personal cell phone conversations. You cannot record another persons cell phone with this adapter.
